Located at the base of Buckhorn Mountain at 6700' elevation, Buckhorn Gardens is a small, organic vegetable farm 13mi. south of Montrose, Colorado. Our farm is an active part of a 12,000 acre ranch; however, we only manage 3 acres with intensive vegetable gardening.

Farm Camp
We are doing a farm camp this summer through Weehawken! They are signing kids up now. If we get enough kids to sign up, there will be a week long camp starting July 30, ending Aug. 3 from 9-3pm everyday. The second week of camp will start Aug. 6 and end Aug. 10. Directions to Buckhorn Gardens

Buckhorn Mountain Ranch & Gardens is located halfway between Montrose and Ridgway, CO.

From Montrose:
Head 12miles south on highway 550. In Colona, just before the Sinclair gas station, turn left (east) on Buckhorn road. Follow Buckhorn road to the stop sign at the T intersection. Turn right (still Buckhorn road) and go 1.5 miles to the gravel driveway on the right at 71610 Buckhorn road. There is a small sign on the fence that says Buckhorn Mountain Ranch. Follow the gravel driveway a half mile up and you will see the gardens & geodesic grow dome on the left.

From Ridgway:
Head north on highway 550. In Colona, just after passing the Sinclair gas station, turn right (east) on Buckhorn road. Follow Buckhorn road to the stop sign at the T intersection.
